"Hops for Habitat" Art Show

To help raise awareness and support for the Marine Meadows Program, Montauk Brewing Company will be sponsoring a "Hops for Habitat" Art Event. The founders of Montauk Brewing Company are dedicated to the preservation and restoration of marine habitats. "As men of the water and supporters of our community, we are very excited to be working with the Cornell Cooperative Extension and local artists to raise money for our local waters."

This unique event will feature an art exhibit and sale to benefit eelgrass restoration, with proceeds being split between the local artist and the Marine Meadows Program. Local (Long Island-based) artists are being asked to prepare artwork for this exhibit and sale. Up to 3 entries per artist will be welcomed for consideration for inclusion in the exhibit. The Hops for Habitat Opening Reception will be held on Friday, June 28th from 6-9pm and the exhibit will remain on display with artwork for sale until July 31st. Artists wishing to submit eelgrass inspired works should deliver their pieces and entry forms to Montauk Brewing Company by May 31st.

6th Annual Award-Winning North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ and Wine Festival

The guys at Starfish Junction Productions were nice enough to allow Montauk Brewing Company to sneak in as a late entry at the 6th Annual Award-Winning North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ and Wine Festival on Saturday August 11th, held at Martha Clara Vineyard. We will be pouring Dirftwood Ale for all from 2-6pm alongside over 50 other breweries with more than 100 brews! Tickets are still available, but are going fast! It's $55 online and $70 at the door (if there are any left at the time of the event). Look forward to seeing you there!

Opening

Montauk Brewing Company is proud to announce the opening of our gallery taproom in the red barn at 62 South Erie Avenue on Saturday, June 30th. Doors will open at 12PM so come in for a tasting and take away a growler of the flagship ESB (Extra Special Bitter), aptly named the Driftwood Ale! Celebrate Montauk's first brewery with the three founders while enjoying local art and fresh beer - it doesn't get better than that!
